SRTC Foundation Scholarships
The Southern Regional Technical College Foundation offers scholarships each semester for qualifying students who successfully complete the scholarship application process. Current and future SRTC students may apply for these scholarships through our online system at southernregional.awardspring.com.

Do I qualify for the Non-Traditional Scholarship?
SRTC offers a Non-Traditional Student Scholarship for students who are enrolled in a program where there gender is underrepresented. Find out if you qualify.
Can high school students apply?
Yes! There are several scholarships avaiable through AwardSpring for incoming freshmen and Dual Enrollment students. Simply follow the instructions in the Scholarship Application Guide above to get started.
In addition, the SRTC Foundation awards one High School Recruitment Scholarship to a Senior from each high school in Colquitt, Decatur, Early, Grady, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, Thomas, Tift, Turner, and Worth counties. Applications for the High School Recruitment Scholarship can be picked up at your high school counselor’s office or at the SRTC Foundation Office. These are paper applications and are not administered through AwardSpring with the rest of the Foundation scholarships. High School Recruitment Scholarship recipients are awarded a $500 scholarship upon enrolling at SRTC, and winners are announced before high school graduation.

What else should I know?
Incomplete scholarship applications will not be reviewed. The Office of Institutional Advancement is not responsible for notifying students of incomplete applications. Merit-based scholarships are evaluated based on grades (transcripts), letter(s) of recommendation, and essays. Merit-based scholarships are awarded based on availability. Applications for these scholarships are accepted the semester before they are awarded. Be sure you have completed a FAFSA. Completion of a FAFSA is required for all SRTC Foundation applications.
