The Foundation at Southern Regional Technical College

The Southern Regional Technical College Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that supports Southern Regional Technical College and provides the assistance needed to help our students achieve success and fulfill their academic goals. The Foundation supports the mission of the College by:

awarding student scholarships which provides financial assistance with tuition, fees, books, and other needed tools or supplies
funding campus expansion and growth
promoting professional development among faculty and staff
supporting adult education initiatives
fostering community partnerships

About the Foundation

The Southern Regional Technical College Foundation, a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization, supports Southern Regional Technical College in its mission to contribute to economic and workforce development in Southwest Georgia. The Foundation strives to promote community awareness of the benefits offered by the College and to supplement available resources through private funding for capital expansion and improvements, equipment, staff and faculty development, and endowments. The SRTC Foundation serves students, educational initiatives, and community partnerships in Colquitt, Decatur, Early, Grady, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, Thomas, Tift, Turner, and Worth counties.

The SRTC Foundation was reinvigorated in 2015 when the Board of Trustees voted to consolidate the Southwest Georgia Technical College Foundation (incorporated in 1991) and the Moultrie Technical College Foundation to appropriately reflect the mission of the new Southern Regional Technical College.

The SRTC Foundation is governed by a local board of trustees who solicit gifts, bequests of property, and funds designated to support educational purposes at the College. The Board of Trustees cultivates and coordinates cash, grants and other funding, as well as property from industry, business, foundations and friends of SRTC.

Southern Regional Technical College Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Our Mission

The mission of the Southern Regional Technical College Foundation is to encourage, receive, and administer financial gifts that benefit the College or college activities, with its first priority being to provide support that enhances student learning.
